Instructions for Use

Welcome to the Advanced AI Prompt Generator manual. This tool is designed to help you create highly structured, optimized instructions (called "prompts") for AI models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini. By using this tool, you ensure the AI understands exactly what you want, who it is talking to, and how it should format the answer.

1. Select Core Task

What is this? This is where you tell the AI its primary job. Do you want it to write a blog post, analyze data, or create a schedule?

Choose a Template Menu

Click the dropdown menu to see a list of 50 distinct tasks. When you select one, the form will automatically generate specific input fields tailored to that exact task.

  • No Template: Select this if you do not want to use any predefined fields. This allows you to build a completely custom prompt from scratch using only the "Additional Context" sections.
  • Warning Modal (Data Loss): If you start filling out fields for one template (e.g., "Blog Post") and then switch to another (e.g., "Bug Tracker"), a warning will appear. It tells you that the fields don't match and data will be lost. You are given the option to copy your old text to your clipboard before proceeding, ensuring you never lose your hard work.

2. AI Behavior Settings

What is this? These four dropdown menus are the "secret sauce" of prompt engineering. They tell the AI who it is writing for, how it should think, what the final answer should look like, and which language to use.

Target Audience

This tells the AI who will be reading the output so it can adjust its vocabulary, tone, and complexity. Select from these 16 options:

  • General Audience: Simple, clear, avoiding heavy jargon.
  • Beginners: Focuses on fundamentals, explains concepts step-by-step.
  • Students: Academic tone, focus on learning and memorization.
  • Professionals: Standard business tone, respectful and direct.
  • Executives: High-level overviews, focuses on ROI, metrics, and bottom lines.
  • Developers / Engineers: Highly technical, assumes knowledge of code and architecture.
  • Researchers: Formal, cites data, focuses on methodology and facts.
  • Business Owners / Entrepreneurs: Focuses on growth, scalability, and strategy.
  • Marketing Teams: Focuses on engagement, conversion rates, and branding.
  • Product Managers: Focuses on roadmaps, user needs, and feature prioritization.
  • Technical Teams: Focuses on implementation, integration, and technical specs.
  • Investors: Focuses on market share, risks, and financial returns.
  • Policy Makers: Focuses on regulations, compliance, and societal impact.
  • Educators: Focuses on teaching methods, curriculum, and engagement.

Reasoning Method

This instructs the AI on *how* to process your request before answering. Forcing an AI to "think" in a specific way drastically reduces errors.

  • Standard Reasoning: Direct answer without showing the thought process.
  • Step-by-Step Reasoning: The AI breaks the problem into sequential steps. Great for math or tutorials.
  • Chain of Thought: The AI "thinks aloud", showing how it connects A to B. Excellent for complex logic problems.
  • Structured Analysis: Breaks topics into categories (e.g., pros/cons, short-term/long-term).
  • Critical Thinking: Evaluates biases, questions assumptions, and provides a balanced view.
  • Comparative Analysis: Directly compares two or more items (e.g., Tool A vs. Tool B).
  • Root Cause Analysis: Focuses on finding the underlying reason for a problem, not just symptoms.
  • First Principles Thinking: Breaks a complex problem down to its most basic, foundational truths.
  • Systems Thinking: Looks at how different parts of a system interact with one another.
  • Scenario Analysis: Explores different "what-if" future outcomes based on current data.
  • Decision Tree Reasoning: Maps out choices and their potential consequences logically.
  • Creative Thinking: Encourages out-of-the-box ideas, metaphors, and lateral thinking. Used for brainstorming.

Response Format

This strictly defines the visual structure of the AI's final answer.

  • Structured Text: Standard paragraphs with clear headings.
  • Bullet Points: A concise list, easy to scan.
  • Numbered Steps: A chronological list (1, 2, 3...).
  • Executive Summary: A short, 1-2 paragraph wrap-up of a larger topic.
  • Detailed Report: A long-form document with deep analysis.
  • Table: Output organized into rows and columns.
  • Checklist: An actionable list of to-do items.
  • JSON Structure / Markdown Document: Outputs in specific coding/formatting languages.
  • Technical Specification: Formal documentation for software or hardware.
  • Strategy Framework: A structured business plan (like SWOT or OKRs).

Language

Select the language you want the AI to write its response in. The generator supports 65 languages ranging from English, Spanish, and Azerbaiani to Japanese, Swahili, and Turkish. Default is English.

How to use Custom Sections

Pro Tips & Examples:

  • Name: Brand Voice Rules
Content: Never use the word "cheap". Use "affordable" or "value-driven". Always sound enthusiastic.
  • Name: Negative Examples
Content: Do NOT write like this: "Hey guys, buy our stuff!" Providing negative examples teaches the AI what to avoid.
  • Name: Formatting Constraints
Content: The final output must be exactly 3 paragraphs. Do not use bold text. Do not use emojis.

5. Your Generated Prompt & Export

What is this? Once you click "Generate Structured Prompt", your data is compiled into a highly organized structure that AI models find incredibly easy to read and obey.

Why JSON or Markdown?

AI models (like ChatGPT) are trained on code. When you give them instructions in a structured format like JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) or Markdown (Headers and bullet points), they follow instructions much more strictly than if you just write a messy paragraph.

Export Options

  • 📋 Copy JSON: Instantly copies the code-block to your clipboard. Paste this directly into ChatGPT or Claude.
  • 📋 Copy Markdown: Copies a human-readable text version of your prompt. Good for pasting into Word documents or Notion.
  • ⬇️ Download JSON: Saves the raw code file to your computer. Great for saving your favorite prompts as files.
  • ⬇️ Download MD: Saves a text file to your computer.
